Rest and Recovery is Essential | Yoga Tips

Feeling the constant pressure to be “ON” makes rest feel unsettling at times. Recently, I started challenging myself to see rest days as an important part of my practice.


Rest and recovery have been essential to supporting my mental health, especially this past year. Likewise, including restorative yoga in our practice provides an opportunity to rest into asanas (yoga poses) that help still our busy mind. Like this 20-minute restorative class for nurture.

Restorative yoga is a gentle class with the aid of props, blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps.
